What I’ve Been Up To

by | Sep 29, 2025 | News | 0 comments

For those who’ve worked with me over the years—whether as patients, clients, colleagues, or referral partners—I wanted to share what I’ve been up to since launching the Injury Prevention Project back in 2020.

The Move to New England

My family and I relocated to the Boston area in 2021. I spent a year as Director of Rehabilitation Services at Dartmouth Hitchcock Healthcare Network in New Hampshire before joining Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts in 2022, where I currently serve as Director of Rehab and Sports Medicine oversee and work with a great group across multiple hospitals and clinics.

Two Paths, One Mission

My career has evolved along two complementary tracks: healthcare leadership and sports medicine innovation.

On the leadership side, I earned my Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) credential and have focused on building high-performing teams and improving clinical operations through data-driven strategies. I’ve had the privilege of leading teams of 130+ professionals while implementing programs that meaningfully improve patient outcomes and staff engagement.

On the sports medicine side, I’ve continued advancing injury prevention and performance:

  • Continued work with Creighton University, and worked with Harvard University’s School of Public Health
  • Collaborate with the Orthopaedic Foundation and present at their Medical Immersion Camps
  • Published Sport Injury Prevention Anatomy (2022)
  • Taught at Franklin Pierce University
  • Mentored several professionals and students

Why This All Matters

Everything I’ve learned from leading healthcare organizations, conducting research, and treating thousands of athletes has shaped The Injury Prevention Project. What started in 2020 has evolved into a comprehensive system—from PreventIQ (evidence-based programs athletes can follow independently) to intensive 1-on-1 coaching with the Healthy Athlete Project. The gap between treating injuries after they happen and preventing them in the first place is exactly what I’m working to close.

I’m based in Massachusetts now, but work virtually with athletes anywhere. If we’ve worked together before or you know someone who could benefit from a systematic approach to injury prevention, I’d love to reconnect.
