After my third ACL injury, I had lost much of my confidence and was very cautious with any movement. As an athlete, I needed to get this back as soon as possible. Following a systematic approach that focused not only on strengthening my knee, but also on restoring movement confidence was crucial. The progressive protocol introduced sport-specific activities, including power lifts and plyometrics, allowing me to rebuild strength in a controlled progression.
