What Are Shield Programs?
Targeted Solutions for Athletes at Risk
Every sport creates unique demands on your body.
Shield Programs are comprehensive prevention systems developed to address the most common athletic injuries. Each program targets a specific injury risk with proven exercises that build strength, improve mechanics, and create resilience in vulnerable areas.
Unlike generic workouts, Shield Programs focus on the exact biomechanical factors that cause injuries, training your body to move more efficiently while developing the specific strength needed to withstand the demands of your sport. Just 1 hour, twice weekly is all it takes to dramatically reduce your injury risk.
Whether you’re looking to prevent ACL tears, running injuries, hamstring strains, or foot and ankle problems, our Shield Programs provide a systematic approach to keeping you healthy and performing at your best.

FAQs
Your Questions Answered
How much does the Injury Prevention Project cost?
The 8-week virtual program is $35, which includes weekly programming and video instruction. We believe in transparency—there are no hidden fees or upsells once you begin.
Do I need to be an elite athlete to benefit from your program?
Not at all. The Injury Prevention Project is designed for athletes of all levels, from weekend warriors to professionals. What matters most is your commitment to improving. We’ve worked with high school athletes, competitive masters athletes, and fitness enthusiasts who simply want to move better and stay injury-free. The program is customized to your specific needs and goals.
What if I'm currently injured or recovering from an injury?
The Injury Prevention Project can be a nice complement for those dealing with injuries. The programs were designed by a licensed physical therapist with extensive sports medicine experience, they can indeed aid in your recovery process. We do not provide hands-on physical therapy though; therefore, please consult with your physician or physical therapist to be sure our programs respect your injury while building strength and mobility in safe, progressive ways.
How much time do the exercises take?
Each program requires just 1 hour, twice per week. We’ve carefully designed these sessions to deliver maximum preventive benefit while respecting your busy schedule. The time investment is minimal compared to the weeks or months lost to preventable injuries. Many athletes report that these focused hours become the most valuable part of their training week.
What equipment do I need for the virtual program?
Most clients need minimal equipment. Basic items like resistance bands, a stability ball, and access to some form of resistance (dumbbells, kettlebells, or household items) are helpful. During our initial consultation, I’ll assess what you have available and design your program accordingly. Many exercises utilize bodyweight resistance and can be performed in limited space.
Can I use this alongside my regular training?
Absolutely! These programs are designed to complement, not replace, your existing training regimen. Many athletes integrate these exercises into their warm-up routines or as supplemental training on lighter days. The programs include guidance on optimal timing and integration with different training phases. Your coach can also easily incorporate these evidence-based protocols into team training sessions.
How is this different from working with a personal trainer or following an online program?
Unlike general fitness routines, our programs are specifically designed to address the biomechanical factors that cause specific injuries. Created by a Board-Certified Sports Specialist with decades of experience, these programs incorporate the latest sports medicine research and target the exact movement patterns, muscle imbalances, and weaknesses that lead to injuries in your sport. We focus on quality over quantity, with precise exercises and detailed form guidance rather than generic workouts.
What happens after I sign up?
After signing up, you’ll receive a confirmation email within 24 hours with access to your program. All programs are online.
